WhatsApp automation isn’t just about replies—it’s about giving your users instant, relevant answers. With SAMWAD’s FAQBot module, you can set up smart, interactive list replies triggered by specific keywords or phrases, helping you automate FAQs and delight customers in real time.

This tutorial walks you through how to:

  1. Set up a Reply Bot using the SAMWAD dashboard.

  2. Connect your FAQBot module to automatically send interactive list messages.

  3. Handle user selections with contextual answers.

Let’s get started.

Part 1: Create a Reply Bot

We would need a trigger for our chatbot. So lets create a text reply bot.

  1. Navigate to Bot Manager in your dashboard.
  2.  Click on Bots

3. Click on create message bot.

 

4. Enter the details as below. Please note these details can be as you want. Header and footer are optional.

5. Enter the quick reply text in button with any button ID. These values will act as our trigger for FAQs.

6. Click Insert button at bottom of the page.

Yay! you are half way through.  We have successfully made a text reply bot which would trigger on “Hello”.

Part 2: Create a FAQ Bot

Back on Bot Manager, you will find the option for FAQ bots.

  1.  Lets create a FAQ bot.
  2. Enter the details as below. Here we have 2 options either you can your own custom trigger and connect it to Reply bot from part1. 
  3. As you can see we have selected you Reply bot and Trigger button.

4. Now lets add some faqs.

5. We have option to add them in one or more sections.

6. Add Row ID, Question and Answers. 

7. Click Add FAQ row to add more questions! (You can add 10 questions in 1 faq bot as per Meta).

8. Click Insert to save. 

So we have a reply bot and a connecting FAQ bots. Lets test it out!
